DESCRIPTION:

The AMD IRQ Driver for Windows 98/98SE will route IRQ #s for PCI devices on the system to the AMD-768, AMD-766, or AMD-756 Peripheral Bus Controller. See the FAQ below to see if this driver needs to be installed or not.

REQUIREMENTS:

Motherboard with AMD-768, AMD-766, or AMD-756 Peripheral Bus Controller (Southbridge)
Windows 98/98SE

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

To run the standard installation program:
1. Run amdirq_111.exe by double clicking on the file.
2. A Welcome installation window is displayed, press Next to install, Cancel to quit.
3. After installation a Finish installation window is displayed, press Finish.
4. The setup program installs the driver and .inf file and updates the system registry.
5. Reboot the system to load the driver.

To install the driver in silent mode without prompts:

1. Run amdirq_111.exe /s from the command line:
2. Type: amdirq_111 /s
3. The installation of the driver runs silently.
4. The setup program installs the driver and .inf file and updates the system registry.
5. Reboot the system to load the driver.
